I've tried to dream lucidly a few times,

but it never works. It's happened on its own a few times before, usually with flying dreams. Once, I was barely asleep and I started to lucid dream I was on a blow-up water slide. I knew I was awake and I could feel everything. I just wish I could get that back. Any tips?

Reality checks redefined Has it ever occurred

to you that maybe reality checks are not actually a test of whether or not you are dreaming but rather may be a test of your beliefs of what is real? What if once your beliefs about reality change, the "waking world" adjusted to be the one that matches them. What if when you see...

I'd done it before, by accident,

but, as I got older, I discovered what lucid dreaming was and managed to find a great book on the matter. I'd had many while reading the book... spontaneous I suppose then I got pretty lazy about it : ( I've learned that it's a great idea to seek answers in your lucid dreams...

    When I Usually Dream...

It's when my body is exhausted yet my mind is still restless and awake. Perhaps worrying about a person or a scenario. My body will fall asleep while my consciousness jerkily moves between oblivion and mindfulness. There is always a moment of fear, of losing myself, as I feel my...

I Used To Be A Heavy Lucid Dreamer

I used to have lucid dreams multiple times a week. It was amazing. It's sad that I never realized all the science involved in it though. I always heard from when I was little, "You can do anything you want in a dream" But that always seemed impossible. How could you control your...

Have You Ever Had A Lucid Nightmare

I've only had one lucid nightmare and unfortunately it was the last lucid dream I've had in years. I was in my car waiting in traffic under the bridge down the street from my house. I saw the sky turning red and everyone started getting out of their cars. I too got out of my car...

    Best Lucid Dream Ever!

Often times I have lucid dreams

where I am floating in the air across the room as if the air is water and I'm swimming. I use my arms and legs to propel myself from place to place. Almost like I'm in zero gravity... It's exhilarating. Maybe it's foreshadowing what might be future life if society starts living...
