So... Is it true that the computers in cars can

record, by code, if the vehicle's max speed has been reached? True or false, I'm busted. ;)

My boyfriend drives a 1969 Camaro. Damn, that car is beautiful. When he got it, the engine was ******, the brakes barely worked, and if you wanted to get to the end of the street in it, you had to take a mechanic with you. But we nursed that baby back to life. A full on engine...

    Cool Cars, Cool Era

Muscle cars are another one of those things that really go hand in hand with the rich history of the steel and automotive industry as well as racing and even Nascar.and how it has changed the world forever. Good and bad. Fast, well built solid cars are awesome!

My hubby bought my first car at 18.

I had been driving since 13. He found me a 66 nova. It had been used for drag racing. One look and i fell in love. I was a careful driver but my nova insisted on throwing rocks and making black marks every time i started off. It obviously had a whiskey throttle. Hubby loved to...

Because I Could......... Toronto To Las Vegas In A 73 Dodge Challenger

This is my story and if you like cars, you gotta like the story. While shopping for a house in 1982 I came across this Plum Crazy Challenger rusting around the back of an older bungalow. For $1200.00 the car was mine and out came the 318 to make room for my police package 440...

SInce I Was Old Enough to Sniff the Gas Caps.

My first car was a 70' Cutlass. Not the 442 sadly, but it did have a very well built 350 rocket under the hood. It took four parts cars to put her together without needing filler. It was missing one piece of the stainless trim to be complete.  I was 17. Relegated to...

My claim to happiness was a 1985 Pontiac Trans

Am. It only had the 5.0 liter engine and the auto on the floor, but she would s _ _ t and git. Black with silver stripes and T-tops. Would love to cruise through mall parking lots as the rumble from down under would set off the alarms on most cars. Spent many a weekend day...

As my husband states: "If it doesn't have more

than 400 cubic inches, it is a lawn mower". Sure some modern powerplants do make huge amounts of horsepower, but it takes big cubes to make big sounds. If you can touch the passenger door without leaning over it is a PONY car, not a MUSCLE car. Maybe it is because I am a...

    1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

I've got a 1972 Olds cutlass that I drive everyday.  It only has a 350 in it (Oldsmobile 350 Rocket!), but my buds and I have built it up a bit and it now has about 300 HP.  I love this car, it's like driving around in a time machine.

Ive been driving from 10/11 years old.

Speed is in my blood and I love pushing every car I drive almost daily especially on bends. I love bends and seeing how much grip cars have to give. Sports cars should be able to handle daily punishment. thats my belief. 1 of the very few reasons I still smile. My favourite...

    79 Monte

I've always been into cars. My first project is a 1979 monte carlo. I'm building a 350 for it right now. It basically needs everything, from bushings to body panels but that's the point of a project right? It's going to be a street car, shooting for 350 hp/ 400 lb-ft. Looking at...

    No Sweeter Sound...

There is no sweeter sound than the roar of a big block V8....Oh how I love muscle cars!! You can keep your Japanese imports, though they have their place and are a lot of fun to drift nothing can compare to the sheer power and sexiness of a big finely tuned motor. My ultimate...

    I recently acquired a 1969 dodge charger

'General Lee' replica. I fell in love with it within 10 seconds of pressing the starter, and it has now become my daily driver, regardless of the fact that the doors are welded shut.

I own an 2003 Mustang , I've put a lot of blood , sweat and tears into her. Engine swap, cold air intake, supercharger, new exuast, new headers.. the list goes on and on. I'm the only one aloud to even touch my car. I love my car, it's my baby. I'd kill over her. :)
