Yes I remember, I was in 5th grade and received an irregular allowance... it was a tough decision but I remember it was the 45 "Lonely Days" by the Beegees.  For some reason I liked that song at that time, I guess I still do.  I miss the days of the 45, and vinyl in general.

The very first album, I got it as a present from my girlfriend in 8th grade, was the single Our House by Madness. Can't for the life of me remember what was on the flip side.

 I saved up my allowance and went into the local record store in town and bought Pat Benatar's Crimes of Passion (vinyl of course).
