    Nothing Like It

I managed to buy my own little terraced house last year. It needed a lot of work that I have half done but I really love it. The feeling of being in your own place and being free is even better than I thought it would be. I can't get over how great it feels!

    My Mother's Mansion

It was the house I moved to when we were starting a new life with a father. I loved it the minute I saw it. Beginnings. I dreamed my biggest dreams looking out these windows, sitting in the yard or on the porch swing. I brought everyone here, we all did. It was a safe haven for...

    My Old Kentucky Home...

isn't really old. We moved here a year ago (Saturday, in fact), and I hated the first place we lived. I had my stroke, and the rehab people helped me find my current place. It's small, but comfy, and is in a nice little town, 10 miles from a decent city. The people here are great...

    I Love My Home

I feel good being in my own home.  My place isn't big but it is cute.  The land is quite big though.  I wish the inside was a tiny bit bigger.  We have the greatest tenants...we don't hear them at all, it's as if we live in a single home.  I...

    Where My Heart Is

I actually have 3 houses in my name I have the Property in Texas with two ranches on 8, 347 acres which makes for great riding space. However as wonderful as it is I am happiest at my 3 story farmhouse in Ohio which sits on 102 acres. I love how it has that old brick charm and...

We have a sheep who thinks he is a cow.

He likes to hang around with them and will never return to the sheep XD It's probably because he lost during head butts with the other rams and is 'exiled', so the only other herd he found was with the cows.

    Small But Nice

Compared to the really big houses not too far away from our neighborhood my house seems small. Our lot is small too compared to many homes. But it is more than adequate for us. We have been fixing it up for some years, a work in progress. The next couple of weeks will be spent...

    I L-o-v-e It!

I adore my house as it is much more than a house to me.  It is an extension of me.  I have many varied interests but when someone walks into my home they know it is my house.  There are pieces of my life history throughout it.  On the walls are picture...

Did I ever tell you the back-story about my

house? The real estate agent said he was the previous owner's best friend and he knew all about the history of this place, a history that is good and sad! Apparently, Gord got a job in The Pas and was commuting to/from Winnipeg on weekends! He kept asking his wife if she would...

It's a Cabin With All the Comforts of Home

I never really had a home until I bought this place 5 years ago. My biological father (who I never knew) died and left me his estate. I bought this land and had my cabin built. The first floor is an open concept. The kitchen and living room are divided by an island/breakfast nook...

    I Love My Home !!!

I just love my home and specially the area around it. Its a 3 storey apartment complex adjacent to a greenzone (or simply a big park) on one side and a big lake to the other. The best part is that there are no boundary walls either to the park or the lakeside. I must say, whoever...

My home for me is where I am the happiest,

and I know I won't get hurt. God blessed me with three amazing people that I share my home with. My boyfriend's mother, his father, and him himself. They are all such angels and I love waking up every day knowing that somebody in this house does care about me.

    Home, Where My Heart Lives

I love our dated 1960's raised brick ranch house. It isn't what the market demands. It doesn't have an open floor plan, or marble counters or custom cabinetry in the kitchen, it's not pain stakingly landscaped and it isn't famous for its curb appeal and that all works perfectly...

" Going home means getting confortable being

who you are and who your soul really wants to be. There is no strain with that. The strain and tension come when we're not being who our soul wants to be and we 're someplace where our soul doesn't feel at home." ~~ Melody Beattie Love this quote!
