I place it in the microwave for a minute and hop into bed ... my hip and lower back and sciatica and knee are very bad tonight... probably from so much walking and sitting awkward on a seat in the cold today.

...I love the way my bed is toasty and warm ready for me because of it.....love its pretty cover. with all its lace and frills......and most of all love my Mum (and even my babysitter) for thinking of me and always putting it in bed for me so I never have to get into a cold bed.
My hotwater bottle is always within reach. It has become a ritual to prepare it at the end of the day and tuck it under my bed cover. It brings relief to my aching muscles, warms my feet, helps relax my body and brings me a few healing moments.

Oh my God! I absolutely adore hot water bottles. I have done since I was a kid. In truth, I'm addicted to them and can't sleep without one. There's nothing more comforting and cosy to cuddle into in bed. (husband excluded!)
My hot water bottle was given to me yesterday by a friend. It is so adorable because it has a bunny cover on it. The cover is washable so that I can snuggle with him over and over and he will always smell awesome.
