As I lie here in bed on my stomach my daughter

is jumping around on the bed and rolling over my body and using my back as a trampoline. As her knees and/or elbows jam into my spine I think "this is probably not a good for me"... But I remember being her age. I would hang on door knobs, roll around, kick in my sleep, climb...

Ice Cream For The Soul Last week I took my

children to a restaurant. My six-year-old son asked if he could say grace. As we bowed our heads he said, "God is good. God is great. Thank you for the food, and I would even thank you more if mom gets us ice cream for dessert. And Liberty and justice for all! Amen!" Along with...

We have so much fun at the different playgrounds we have here. Though they all have slides, swings and much more. Each one is themed differently and no 2 are the same. They never get tired of the parks. Our never ending laughters and joys. I only wish they last forever. As for...

Parenting is almost never a negotiation.

It's a series of rules that continually change as the child grows. Without the rules and the boundaries the child will not feel safe enough to continue to grow tall, strong and happy. That child will not trust the world and will allow others to violate their boundaries because...
