    One Of My Favorites

I have always loved oatmeal. It was a quick and tasty meal for breakfast or sometimes dinner. My favorite is Apple & Cinnamon. At one point in my life I ate 2-3 bowls a day. It something I want to get back into, but for the health benefits.

This May Ruin Your Taste For Ordinary Oatmeal...

It's not often you get to follow your bliss and create something that really fills a need. A couple of months ago, we launched Farm to Table Foods, a company that produces craft made, organic oatmeal that in all modesty, is like nothing you ever had before. As far as we can see...

    Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

I love oatmeal.  I grew up "Up North" in Chicago.  Oatmeal is a staple to Northerners like grits is a staple to Southerners.  Quaker Oats was the standard brand at home.  When I got out on my own I tried Three minute Oat Bran.  It was OK. Actually quite good for oatmeal...

Steel Cut Oats With Raw Almonds

This is such a delicious breakfast! Anytime I need a pick me up, I always grab for the oatmeal and raw almonds. The warm, creamy sensation -  always pleases.

Damn Good Thing I Do, Too

It's the only real food in my house about a week or two after pension check day when i make all the lenders and utility companies richer than they were last month. And thank goodness for salt and my tubs of Smart Balance buttery stuff. I mix all those ingredients together and i...

When I need some rock solid stability to your life, I can always count on oatmeal to feel grounded again. It just feels right after I have it. My skin feels more alive, and my digestive tract feels more calm. There is nothing like the comfort of oatmeal made the way you want it.

    I Eat It Raw

Instant oatmeal, straight out of the package, just dump it in my mouth. Chew it a little, wash it down with some soda pop or juice. Repeat! Two packs and a can of pop every morning. Yum

    How Oatmeal Inspired Me

A couple years ago I was overweight and not happy with the way I looked in the mirror and in my clothes.  I wasn't extremely overweight but enough that my sister-in-law called me fatty one day when she was visiting at my house.  When she said that to me something clicked in my...

    Savory Oatmeal

I love oatmeal with a bit of salt. Occasionally I'll jazz it up with a tiny bit of butter... or cheddar and diced peppers/onions and egg... or even soy sauce and scallions. Mmmm. Is this weird?

    With Rasins Or Dried Cranberries

Just enough with a glass of juice to get you going for the day.  I do like the maple sugar flavors and to cook it in the micro is so easy, just have to make sure it doesn't overflow.

I Had To Make A Change

I am obese and my BMI is 39 so I had to find some way to get a start on a big life change. I had a big bag of oatmeal stashed in the back of a cupboard, put a half cup in a bowl, topped with some water, microwave a minute 30 stirring occasionally, there we have the start of a...
