The ocean shore is where I belong.

It gives me such... peace. That daily anxiety and stress my mind is filled with in constance is eased while I am sitting on the sand, listening to the waves hit the shore, feeling the ocean breeze sweep through my hair and very being. I absolutely love it. I crave it. I want to...

I love the sound of the waves

and how the shore line moves like it's alive. In the wind it feels so beautiful with the crashing of the waves and the whistling of the wind.

Speaking of which, I find it slightly disturbing

that I've found the same object twice on the shores of the same beach. When I was about 14 I found the heel of a old shoe sole, the kind that they used to hold them together with nails. Just this 4th of July I found another one, except this one was smaller, like maybe for an...

    Actually

I've never been to one. I've never been much outside this city(which is located in a plateau...geographically speaking). But when i see the pictures of lonely sea shores, with the sky and the water stretching out till what seems like infinity, it feels so liberating, so vast...

    When I lived in Florida,

I used to run on the edge of the ocean. One night, I was lucky to see close to 200 hatchling turtles make their race from the sand higher up on the beach into the ocean. Felt lucky! Only time in 13 years that I saw any think like it.

    Ocean Breeze

All my life I have lived on the west coast. The farthest inland I've ever been was to Colorado, which was a stark contrast to beautiful, green Oregon. I have cousins in Colorado who have never seen the ocean until a few years ago when they visited us. Tammi was 34 years old and...

    The Seven Seas

I always will be near salt water.  I guess i was a sailor in previous lifetimes also (though i did **** off the gods before too) and still work in the marine environment.  The love and terror are perhaps the same thing when it comes to being on the ocean.  Leaving...

    I like being there right

before the sun rises and watch everything come to life. The birds, the fisherman, the joggers and the peace of it all before it gets crowded. The rhythmic sound of the waves, blended with the power of it is memorizing and makes you question where it all come from and how all...
