Nice & smooth are the hip hop legends of the

early 90s. They had rnb beats to their raps and killed it. They started the new era of rap music with an rnb flow

Lord take me back to the late 80s

and 90s. From 2pac, Lauryn Hill, Big L, Nas and MJ where music had more soul and meaning and more effort. Too bad most of this century is bearing the rap we hear today about pointless crap like fake booties & poppin endless bottles

    I'm an amateur rapper

that lives in upstate new York and I keep my style old school. this mainstream hip hop has lost its passion....where's the stories? the poetic punchlines? that's why I pray that if I make it big time I'll keep it original

The early 90s was a golden era

for both the alternative rock and hip-hop worlds. Both movements were spearheaded by creative and idiosyncratic pioneers that were bringing outsider perspective to the mainstream. Though there are still creative artists in hip-hop today, I would argue the early 90s was the most...
