"I can't see the meaning of this life I'm

leading. I try to forget you as you forgot me. This time there is nothing left for you to take, this is goodbye. Summer is miles and miles away... And no one would ask me to stay. And I should contemplate this change, to ease the pain. And I should step out of the rain, turn...

I want to share a song.

It really touches me, the lyrics and the rhythm. It's so perfect. The Drapery Falls Please remedy my confusion And thrust me back to the day The silence of your seclusion Brings night into all you say Pull me down again And guide me into pain I'm counting nocturnal hours...

    Opeth Infatuated

I didn't hear Opeth until last year and I can't get enough. It's almost all I listen to now.  Like others have expressed, they have music for every mood. Does anybody have suggestions an other bands I might like that are similar. I now Opeth is one of a kind, but am...

Personally, I never listened to Opeth

until about two years ago, and I initially didn't even like them. I picked up the Heritage album last year, and was immediately hooked, so I went back and got Watershed, Damnation, and Ghost Reveries. I can't say I much enjoy any of their material which is older than that. a few...

    Opeth :3

I've been a fan of Opeth since 2008, when an ex brought Blackwater Park over one day and played it straight through (he said he would refine my tastes; he was right). Never had I heard anything as well orchestrated, with the balance of metal, blues, prog and interestingly, jazz...

    Best Band of All Time

Just saw them in Atlanta and it changed my life!  It was the most amazing show I have ever seen hands down.  I would love to go see them in Stockholm.  These guys are BRILLIANT!  Watershed is a great album but so are all the others.

I used to  have them for dinner all the time but they gave me heartburn.   I had them fried at first and then tried broiling them but all in all it turns out I can't stomach them.  Does anyone know what kind of wine goes with opeths?

How I Came To Love Opeth

I discovered Opeth when I was about 14 but didnt become a die hard fan until grade 10. The very first song I heard was "Death whispered A Lullaby". It sounded so different from everything else that was popular at the time and that was what attracted me to Opeth. There is is...

    Opeth Changed Me...

This band moves me. They make me feel incredible things. I feel free, comforted, accepted, and cared for. I don't know why.

Damnation: Damnation is by far my favorite

Opeth album. It destroys me every time I listen to it. It reminds me of a time I was sitting in the rain crying, listening to the album on repeat. I felt so trapped. I feel trapped yet again. I find myself wanting to run. I find myself listening to Opeth again. Because When I'm...

    For Every Mood

I love how there is Opeth for every mood. I find some bands I can only listen to at certain times, but Opeth plays a little bit of everything. I love the blends of heavy metal, classical and even some spannish sounding influences. Even though I may not...
