    Dock Of The Bay

Sitting...... There are times that the only remedy is listening to Otis. I don't have those days often, but they do appear. The first day of your monthly is one of them.

    Never Knew It

So, I grew up spending a lot of time at my grandparent's, especially in the basement. My grandpa was a bit of a hoarder, keeping all sorts of stuff. My favorite of course was the mountains of vinyl. I spent so many hours down there just sitting and listening to those old records...

I have been listening to Otis Redding for as long as I can remember. The first song I really loved by him was These Arms of Mine...It still gives me goosebumps every time I hear the opening line.

Try a little tenderness has forever changed my

life. It never fails to make me smile or dance. If my sister is in a bad mood, I crank this up and serenade her, Duckie style ;), until she smiles. I will listen to it in repeat for days and not think twice about it.
