I like reading a good book before bedtime but I especially love reading to my lover.  I feel it brings a different intimacy to the words.

    Reading Fan Fictions

Ever since I found out about fan fictions, I just feel in love with them. There are some great authors out there and I find it interesting to read about the continuation of some movies, tv shows, cartoons, comics (or graphic novels, for all us adults) and even songs. I used to...

Great Way To End The Day

For me, reading is such a wonderful way to end the day! I love that quiet time with my boyfriend, with just our bedside lamps on, sitting on the bed with a good book. It puts me into that relaxed mode, ready for a good night sleep! :)

    Good Book

My night time routine is to read for 20 or so minutes before I go to bed. Some stories just seem to put me to bed while others keep me up, alert as ever. I mean, its not like one is boring and the other is exiting... My theory is that is has something to do on whether I have read...

I have read all of the twilight series.

Don't judge me I'm a romantic yuppy. I have read most of the Anne Rice Sagas. So obviously I'm a fan of vampires. Team Edward. I love the book blood and chocolate, not so much the movie. Those are my favorites so that is all I will say for now. :)

    Reading

I read every night before I go to sleep.  I have been doing this since I was a kid.  It is such a habit I can't fall asleep without it.  I read all kinds of books but I love a good mystery.

    Familiar Fiction

I have other kinds of fiction that I read while travelling, but when it comes to winding down before sleep, I love reading one of the fantasy stories by David Gemmell or David Eddings. I know the stories - I know the characters.  There are some good lines in...

    I <3 It

I've been reading before bedtime regularly for a few years now. I'm horrible at falling asleep and reading really helps tire my brain a little so that it doesn't take as long. I know I still run through my mental lists and whatnot before I fully fall asleep, but reading gives me...

Its My Favorite Time To Read....

I Love to read right before Bed time. I Love to read at night when I am in bed, right before I fall asleep. Its my favorite time to read. I am so relaxed, and so comfortable. I Love just laying in bed, with my book, and escape from the day.

Nothing Wrong With a Pillow Book!

Sometimes at the end of the day it helps to curl up with a good book - and read it,I hasten to add. Not heavy research, but an absorbing novel, autobiography or perhaps some poetry. Anything that can draw me in,away from the day I've had,and engross me for an hour until I feel...

    Drifting Off #2

Before bedtime is when I do most of my reading these days.  Either just before my daughter’s bedtime, or before my own.  With my daughter I get 20 minutes of sky pirates, wizards and putting on silly voices.  Finding a cliffhanger when she’s starting to drift.  ‘Are you...
