    My First Real Tree

We have always had a fake tree. My boyfriend thought it would be nice to get a real tree this year. We found a place where we could cut down a tree ourselves. We were real "hunter-gatherers". We trudged through the snow until we found the perfect one! We strapped...

    A Rasied of Hands

Friday, Oct 24, 2008 I ask my kids the question: Do you want to get a real tree or a fake one for Christmas? Raise your hands for the real one, now raise your hands for the fake!   I see, we are going for the real one! When my son was 5, that was the last time we got a...

    Never Had One Though

My family has always used fake Christmas trees.  They're pretty and still fun to decorate, but I've always wanted a real one.  There have been a few times when I went to visit my dad that we went out and bought a real Christmas tree, but I only got to enjoy it for like...

I love the fragrance of a real Christmas Tree.

In my family it´s a tradition to buy every year a Christmas tree and to decorate it with Christmas baubles, lametta and wooden figures.

    Every Year

We have never had a fake or plastic christmas tree, ever. Every single year dad goes out somewhere and chops down a real one. It's much better :D  The smell of them is nice, too.

    .... I Grow My Own ...

Christmas tree... I grow my own Christmas trees right here in my own front and back yards. I do it because of the guilt thing, and because I grow them with love. In fact, I nurture the living heck out of them for the YEARS it takes to grow my seasonal sacrifices. I love the dear...

It's the Fabulous Pine Smell ...

I love the gorgeous pine fragrance the tree sends out into the room at Christmas when the house is cosy and warm.  Decorating the tree is such a lovely annual ritual and all the decorations I have collected over many years get taken out again, usually with little...

    Love 'em =d

Only problem is clearing up after Christmas. Much as I would love to have a real tree every year, I really am far too lazy to clean up after each one! So it's an artificial tree for now. Well, that might only last until I get my own place, so meh =P
