I went to one in Colorado awhile back.  I got to ride the elephant.  I was just a kid, and I went on alone, it was soo scary!!!  But the shops at Renaissance Fairs are fun, and the roasted nuts are delicious!!!  (I don't usually eat nuts)  =]

Sometimes I feel as though I were born into the

wrong time era. I absolutely love going to renaissance faires! I have a gown, and many other pieces of clothing of that time ( read corsets!) love corsets!!! I wish people still dressed like that! <3

    The Best!

I wasn't really into Renaissance Festivals until I moved to Texas. Texas Ren Faire rocks! It is the best. The biggest in the United States. You really haven't been to a renfair until you've to this one. It's situated between Houston and Austin, in the small town of Plantersville...

    Medieval Fairs N Me

My first was Geneva, many eons ago, and Geneva remains my favorite. I have enjoyed several clear across the US, and frequently attend; even occasionally work a booth, Sarsaparilla of course. I always attend in costume and love to work off the actors. Living in Vegas though is not...

    My First Time

It was two years ago...I went with my family and absolutley loved the experience! The sights, the sounds, the feeling of it was all just magical and beautiful. I was brought back to another world, another era where people worked hard and where we didn't depend on the technology...

    Feels Like Home

The first Ren Faire I remember going to was when I was 17, with a group of friends and my first boyfriend. Being a fantasy fiction reader, I was in heaven. My mom later told me that she'd taken me to one as a baby. In my 20's I started going every year, bought a costume and...

    Ren Faire Northern Illinois

My wife and I enjoy going to Ren Fairs, mostly in northern Illinois.  We both dress up - I'm not sure how I look but she looks gorgeous no matter what she wears.  Fills out her dress nicely, too ;)Started with a trip to Spain where we went to a medieval castle.  We've also...

    Busty Wench

I have been to King Richard's Faire, in Carver MA, and I've been to the Sterling Forest Ren. Faire, in Tuxedo NY. They are SO much fun. Next year I hope to attend the Maryland Faire. I love getting trussed up in my bodice and flouncy skirts. It can be difficult, though, to keep...

I have always wanted to go and dress up for a Renaissance Faire!  I think it would be an awesome experience!  Is there a website that lists all the locations around the US?

    Well Met Fellow Rennies!

Good morrow all! I am new to the project. My first faire was Bay Area in Tampa at MOSI and I am a kilted lad. I do not have a home faire as of yet for I have not attended any more than once and I am not cast but a playtron.  In the past 2 yrs. I've attended 6 different...

    Sewing a Kilt!

I have been so excited about going to the Bay Faire since I heard about it a few weeks ago. I spent so long thinking about actually dressing up. I've gone to them since my gifted class in middle school. We followed a medieval theme, stood up when nobility entered...

    Nice Cleavage

Any guy who has ever been at a renaissance Fair knows that the best parts are the colorful ladies in costume with great boobs and cleavage. And these women can get a bit raunchy too. Some of the acts are bawdy. They really are not a good place for kids at times, because of all...

    Huzzah ! ! !

I have been either working or attending the Carolina Renaissance Faire outside of Charlotte, NC for the last 7 years. I have also gone to the one in Raleigh once. (I wasn't impressed with that one.) Its like stepping back in time. People are nicer there. The dress code is better...

    Going Home

I went home this past weekend. I took my oldest children with me. We were welcomed by our "family". A family as rich and diverse as our great country. Home has no color barriers. Religions are myriad and ALL are respected. My "kith and kin" are so many, I can't remember their...

I have a great time at Renaissance Faires. Turkey legs, cauldrons brimming with garlic mushrooms, the music, the players, costumes, jousting, storytelling, and singing executioners. Let's go!

    A Tradition

I attended my first Ren-Fest at 16, and I went every year after that for years. Lately time and work hours have gotten in the way of me going, but I plan to reinstate the tradition next year! It's wonderful- like stepping back in time. I love the costumes, the music, the food...
