Passing It Down to the Next

I made root beer floats for my kids, well the husband got into one of his junk craze. So, anyway......I made each one of them a float. They didn't like it to much because of the soda! ha ha ha ha My kids don't drink soda, so they don't like soda. But it was fun!

    BLACK Cow

I love Root Beer floats.  In my neck of the woods, we call them Black Cows.  They are so creamy and frothy and GOOD and refreshing.  First you spoon out some of the ice cream and eat it.  Then you drink some of the root beer.  Then for the finale, you...

    Love Them

I've had root beer floats all my life but, when I ordered one at Red Robin it made me love them. They just know how to make them. A perfect mix of root beer and vanilla ice cream. I have one with my burger every time I go there.

    Family Root Beer Floats

My family loves my root beer floats.  Technically, they cannot be described as "floats" though.  Nothing floats in my floats!  It's more of a root beer shake.  Just enough root beer to melt the ice cream.  The best ones have chunks of ice cream among the slushy root beer...

    Root Beer Floats

They are hard to perfect. Usually they are too foamy and they skimp you on rootbeer cause of the foam. The best root beer float is one where you pour the root beer first than throw in the Ice cream. If you put the Icecream in first not only does it not float it gets too foamy...
