    Another half marathon.

... And yes I made it in the top 20%. BUT the lesson learned today was from a 60 year old fellow runner. Approached me on mile marker 3 ( about 5 km ) and he started making conversation. He told me he was just happy to be there running at his 60 years. Then he smirked , started...

Morning dew . Wind on stand still.

My thoughts interrupted by the occasional bird chirping or a squirrel running away from me. Nothing but the present, 6.2 miles of it. All is good .

This morning I went to my usual run.

However, this is the first time I do this route in a month since I was in a holiday. Last night was an emotionally loaded day and I woke up with those worries in my mind. Great morning for a run and to do some active meditation. The wind was blowing in my face, a freedom...

    I'm doing a challenge.

5kilometre runs for 50 days in total. I've done 5 days of 5km and I found it to be okay today. In fact I sort of got carried away. Which is good because before I started this challenge 5k was a struggle and I would give up before I even got there. I'm not focussing on how...

This morning was one of "those" mornings.

You know, when your alarm goes off and your bed does it's best to convince you to stay. I snoozed once and really wanted to a second time, but reluctantly got up. There are some mornings I'm more willing to get up, but I don't like early mornings, this was neither, don't like...
