    RUSH Never Disappoints In Concert.

How a band with only three guys can make a sound that big is beyond me. Truly amazing to watch in concert especially Neil Peart with his drum solo. It's a must at every concert. He's mesmerizing! Not only that, these guys are truly the nicest guys out there. Very down-to-earth...

Permanent Waves, Freewill And General Skiving Off.

This was the album that got me into Rock. In particular side one track two, Freewill. Third Year. The best year of my life possibly. 4 periods a week, non examinable: we chose Music. Suddenly, we were free to do as we want, be whom we pleased, develope and discover. To totally...

    Since 1982 ....

I was about 12 when I first heard Rush...with that first song being 'Subdivisions'....what a great time for music... But it wasn't until the next year that I got 'Grace For Pressure', after hearing the 'Distant Early Warning' and 'Red Sector A' tracks....I was transfixed! My...

This band is fantastic. Crafting rhythms and breaking new ground with (almost) every album. Their songs speak of many experiences in life and the lyrics still resonate with me all these years later. Hmm... showing my age lol :)

Neil Peart Is a Percussion God!

Seen them live more than a dozen times... seen some of the other 'best drummers'... nobody else comes close. I saw a solo he performed at Red Rocks in Golden, Colorado and Geddy Lee came out and simply said "Ladies and Gentlemen... the Professor" and time stood...

Most of the Men In My Life Love Rush

When I was 13 I had this boyfriend Michael who loved Rush. This was back in 1982. He was like 4 feet tall and drove a dirtbike illegally on the street to come see me that was way bigger than he was. He always was spouting Rush lyrics in math class to the annoyance of the teacher...

2112 And The Beginning Of Fandom

The first time I ever heard Rush was in 1981, my boyfriend was a fan and he played 2112 for me. I can't say that at that stage that I "got it" of course now it's one of my favorite Rush songs. I saw my first show in 1985, Power Windows tour and I was hooked, I mean I was hooked...

So on Boxing Day (Black Friday in Canada),

I decided that I should start playing bass guitar thanks to Geddy and the videogame Rocksmith! I went to the store and bought not a very expensive one - Squier one. So far, waiting for my game to arrive in the mail but tried a few notes here and there and I think this is for...

Alex Neil And Geddy... Three Good Guys At Heart

I have to say that I ADORE backstage interviews, candids and anything that shows the three guys interacting and being themselves. They are three of the most genuine, humble and noble men in their industry, with a wicked and sweet sense of humor. I have to say their kindness...

so much. Can't believe it was the last time I would ever see this band live. :( It was the best show (of them) out of the 5 I've seen since 2007. I wish I discovered them in 2000 at least instead of listening to bands like Stone Temple Pilots and Nickelback lol.... You guys are...

    Rush Is Great!

I first listened to Rush when I was in my early teens, through a friend. It was in the UK and they are not popular there at all. I was playing drums at the time; so obviously Neil Peart became a hero. I think the first time I heard about them was 1984 'Grace Under Pressure' album...

    Best Band

Oh how I love Rush. I cannot think of a band who has been as consistently awesome, who has changed wit the times, and remained socailly relevant. It's a crime that they may never get into the Hall of Fame. I celebrate their entire catelogue, but I think that Snakes and Arrows...

    The Early Stuff

The albums Rush (Jack Rutsey on drums, not Neil Peart), Caress of Steel, Fly By Night and 2112 are my personal favorites. Although I also like Feedback, the album of covers they did in '04.

I was introduced to the band

when I started to play drums, and Neil just made me melt with his top-tier drumming. He's still my F.O.A.T drummer, and ive made it my goal to get as good as he is, if not better ;)

    Rush Through the Years

Every single boy / man I've ever been with has loved Rush.  I've only been to Rush concerts.  Neil Peart is the god of drummers.  When other drummers die, they get to sit in front of Neil Peart and listen to him play. One of the best things about Rush is that they...

Each and Every Record Wasn't Just a Treat, It Was a Statement

This is the quintessential rock trio.  From my first listen I was hooked, and haven't looked back since.  Their style of music is unequalled.  Every record comes with its own gifts and magic, and I refuse to name a favourite, though I have a couple in mind. ...

They Should Be In the Rock and Roll Hof

And it's a travesty that they aren't. My favorite Rush song is "Working Man". My favorite is Alex Lifeson. I've always wanted to play guitar, and he is probably within the top five or so rock guitarists.
