    Actually.... I like sailing.

I love racing. Dinghy racing or team/match racing is so much fun compared to normal sailing .

    Sailing Is Bliss

I spent the weekends in my youth building a 28 foot long wooden sail boat with my father. Those were the days!!! We bonded during the creation of the boat. On the day we finished the boat we took her to the river to make sure she was going to float. WOW, it did!!!! Then the whole...

    Summer Sailing And Dreams

It's always been a dream of mine to sail to different parts of the world, and live on a boat for a part of my life. I have 'met' some terrific people on here who have the kahunas to quit a practical life and go for it -- living a life at sea.  Their stories have woken me up, and...

I want to buy a catamaran,

under 40 feet so I can handle it alone... live aboard and sail from port to port, working when I need money & sailing for the rest of my life. I had considered a monohull, but, they are not as stable, they don't sail as fast & the quarters are cramped

    We Sail Every Summer Holiday

Ever since I was a little girl, most of my summer holidays have been spent sailing. There were a few years when it was not possible due to the health of a family member or due to finances, but sailing is more than just a hobby for me. Sailing is a way of life that few seem to...

Ever since I was a small boy

and my grandfather took my brothers and I out on the water, I have been in love with sailing. I love the smells, the spray, the noises of the vessel and the feeling of independence and adventure. Nothing else like it. Especially if you own you own "lady".

Sailing is life. Racing sailboats is my

favorite thing to do. My dad grew up sailing and taught me everything I know. I've been competing for nearly 4 years now. I'm 19 years old and in March I'm spending 10 days sailing around the British Virgin Islands with my dad. Needless to say, I'm obsessed.

    Sailing is so much more

The best moment is when it begins.

You turn the motor off and the boat becomes alive. Or you leave the beach and the sails fill and at that moment you're a part of the something primal. The universe of physics takes you. In this moment the stress of the corporeal world is gone. Only the moment you're in exists...
