    Ooooh... Sour Kraut... Not the icky sweet stuff, either. Oh, no. I need the strong tasting, sour, tangy stuff that makes your *eyes* water just when you smell it. Mmmmm... Growing up, Sour Kraut and polish sausage was one of my favorite meals. Heh. We'd have it on my birthday...

    My mom's sauerkraut was always better than anyone else's. I couldn't figure out why so one day I asked her and she said she added 2 and a half cans of beer into it. I couldn't believe that was the only thing she did. So one new years I watched her. She put exactly what she said...

    How Could You..

    Eat almost any kind of pork without having some Sauerkraut! It adds so much flavor and brings out the taste of the pork. And I am not even German!
