I am scared to death of the woods. I dont mind a campfire on the beach as long as there is something to keep those bugs away.

Oh, goodness!  Why are you afraid of the woods?  The woods are so beautiful and rich and fragrant!  From the harsh call of the crows high in the treetops, the soft twitter of the chickadees in the brush, the rustling of the red fox returning to her den after a night of hunting, to the sighing of the breeze through the leaves.  The sharp crack of a small branch and the crunch of last year's leaves underfoot.   The scent of pine, damp earth, mushrooms growing and leaf mold. I love the woods!  They are so full of life and the cycles of living!
