    At The Cottage

I really love sitting around a campfire at night. Especially in the summertime up at the cottage. The smell of the air, the bright stars in the sky, and the company of great family/friends. There's usually lots of talking, laughing and telling of stories. Some of which I think...

    Best Thing About Camping

If you go camping you must have a camp fire. Sitting around, chatting, drinking, cooking marshmallows and hotdogs. Throwing a new log on. Always needing to move because of the smoke. It's just fun being at a camp file.

Yet I don't like it because no matter

where I sit, the smoke always comes to me. Once, I just kept walking around the fire and the smoke followed me. I like the heat and the actual fire but not the smoke.

Ahhh! Sitting around a fire on cool evenings!

Yes! This is where I either get my thoughts and plans done when I'm alone or having fun when my friends come by. Break out the drinks, mixes and munchies and let the stories flow! It's best in autumn or winter when the mosquitos are gone, but summers fun as well, just...

    Campfires Are Meaningful To Me.

Whether it is a campfire in the backyard with friends or at our campsite with family, campfires are comforting. We talk, be silly, cook in Dutch ovens, roast marshmallowsand make s'mores, warm up, watch the flames, and sometimes fall asleep around the campfire.

    I can't wait till spring!

! And the start of campfire season for us. My husband loves cooking over the fire. We will do it until it turns too cold in the fall. Being outside, having a drink, looking at th Sky...nothing better after a long hard day.

for hours. It's hypnotizing. Nothing like a campfire in the high mountains of Colorado under the starry skies.

Something about the embers glowing is mesmerizing to me. I can get lost in thought for hrs. just staring , feeding ,and poking at it. Whether at the lake,in the firepit on the deck,or the fireplace inside in the winter. It's a great way to relax ..

    Damn Marshmallows

I love sitting around a campfire,

its getting back to nature. The campfire itself is great with the crackling and the red and orange glow. It is also a great time to tell ghost stories or any story really. Sitting around a campfire can also of course be very romantic.
