I only have a few hobbies, skateboarding being one off them. I only started skateboarding six months ago but already I have gotten pretty good at it. Living just across from the park has it's benefits.
In the park there is a place for biking, skating and skateboarding so it...
I taught myself how to ride a skateboard about 4 years ago. My older brother had a friend who was totally into skateboarding and could do a bunch of tricks. He came over to our house a few times to hang out and almost always brought his skateboard with him. I remember going...
I do it every day/ any chance I get when I'm free. what sucks is not being able to skate like before. what I mean is having other responsibilities that get in the way; work, school, "adult real world type stuff".
Pain. Fear. Two barriers in life which stop us from achieving our greatest desires. Recently, i broke my wrist and The cast comes of next week. My friend who i've skated with so many times and knows me better than most people said to me, " you'd be crazy to skate again...
whenever I have time. I spend a lot of time filming too for my friends and my YouTube channel. If you'd like to check out a couple of videos it would be great we appreciate support and I'll send a link to anybody who wants to see them.
When I'm mad, happy, bored, for whatever reason, i go to the skatepark and it feels like I'm in a dream. i don't have to worry about anything when I'm skating. its a great place to meet others that like skating too!
I don't know why I like it, but I just do. Ever since I was a kid, I just loved seeing people skate, its strange of how much people can do with just a wooden board with wheels attached to it, haha. But then I realized skateboarding had great potential! I always wanted to learn...

skateboards, I bought one yesterday for $40 the wheels are bad but in replacing them. Are they good for someone who is bad but wants to learn how to skate? I got it in 7.75 if that's makes any difference
and I really like them (except the wheels & wheel bearings) but they are super heave and I have a really hard time doing an Ollie. What brand should I buy next, I like the enjoi boards and element are pretty cool but I want a light board for tricks & stuff
that my mom bought it for me as a gift. I got introduced to skating 4 years ago when I saw a skate park and I watched a skater landing a kickflip which immediately got me amazed.
Ever since then I asked my mother for a board but all she said was "no!" because I was only 11...
for your whole life -
Fear exists in the mind and prevents you from succeeding. Challenge yourself, challenge your fears, challenge the unknown; the unknown becomes known and fear is neutralised.
Skate hard, have fun, meditate: simple.
to watch vids and marvel at how these kids have upped their game from when I was doing it.
I love lifting weights but nothing gives me the same feeling as banging out a tre flip catching bolts and rolling off. I miss it.
