Before today, I was going to write a story about how I only experienced snow once in my lifetime. However, that all changed this morning.
The first time I ever experienced snow was in the year 2004, the Christmas before Hurricane Katrina tore up New Orleans. There was snow...
that we ever got snow and when we did I never really got the chance to go outside and really enjoy it but now that I live up north things will be different. It's summer right now but I'm very excited about this winter. :)

Watching the snow fall brings me back to my childhood, to the times I would look out the window at the untouched world glittering in...

I was apparently born in a snowstorm. When I lived far away and came back to visit friends, it inevitably snowed. My then-boyfriend believed that the snow clouds followed me to show their affection -- rather like the rain god truck driver in "Hitchhiker's Guide" by Douglas Adams...

another winter. I love the snowy season, especially when the snow falls real slow with a nice swirl from the light wind. It's like a state of peace that I can't get anywhere else, and now it's over :(
I hope summer goes by fast, so I can get back in my element.
I'm sitting at the kitchen table watching the snow continue to fall. It started last night and is still going strong. The kids are still asleep and I am in awe of the peaceful feeling I have at this very moment.Snow is so beautiful and I dont get it often enough but when I do I...
