When I think of space exploration,

I think in the sense on how important it is for continuity of the human race. We live in such unique times that we are growing and developing as a human race at exponential rate with around 7 billion human inhabitants of planet Earth and counting. Of course, comes with this the...

EP should really get on with the times of

multi-megabyte images. Would also be cool to hear if anyone with the app can see the picture, as in the past it seems people with the app have been able to see pics and I have trouble seeing pics off the app... Anyway!I don't mean in the "Wow, Start Trek's so groovy" way, but I...

Modern Day Transfiguration - Must Read-

What you are about to read is fact. There are no embellishments, no deceit, and no misinformation. My name and age are irrelevant at this point in time, but my presence must be made public. What you are about to read is a revelation on life, a testament to truth, and an...

This is one thing I wish would be available

and affordable to the public in my lifetime because I would do it in a heartbeat. I would love to be able to look at the Earth as a whole and get the perspective that I am sure comes with doing that.

    So many people saying

that Philae was a waste of 2 billion dollars. If you're one of those people, you disgust me. Fine, next time, we'll tie YOU into an immobile position, send you on a 4 billion mile trip that was carefully planned to get you in the vicinity of a 3 mile long comet we previously...

We Are Just A Grain Of Sand In This Vast Mysterious Universe!

I have been interested in Space Exploration for a long time. When I was a child one of my aspirations was to become an astronaunt. As I grew older I realized I would either have to become a scientist, physicist or join the air force in order to be considered. None seemed...

I Absolutely Have Been In Love...

...with astronauts' and cosmonauts' spaceflights ever since watching Alan Shepard lift off on television to become America's first person in space on May fifth, 1961--the Soviet Union's cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin having become history's first person in space less than one month...

    I Believe It Benefits Mankind

Other than the fact that it pushes our technology to its limits it also helps advance medicine and science.  In a zero or micro gravity they may be able to develope medicines that they can't here on earth.  And why should our civilization stand still or live the way we...

I myself work in space industry.

(Don't ask me technical question as I'm not an engineer.) I didn't really understand what space exploration means to human beings, but I think I'm able to see it a little. Scientists often say that the key is the curiosity but there should be more than that. Earth is one...

    I Love Space Expolration

When I was a child, I heard on the news and saw in "Life" and "Look" magizines about the money and dog which went into outer space. Albiet, only around the earth, but space, no less. I was HOOKED. From then on, I saved every magizine which had the original astronauts in them...

If you read xkcd, you're very familiar with the

adorable personification of Philae. The problem with anthropomorphism is that it creates sentimental attachment, much like one would to a beloved fictional character--since that is what is essentially being created. I drew this xkcd style Philae, before he shut down from a lack...

How Could You Not Love Space Exploration?

I always found the the outer space fascinating. How can one not? I mean just the sheer size of it. And the stars we see at night might actually not even be there now cuz it took so long for the light to get here. Imagine that. And the possibility of advanced life forms somewhere...
