    Rives Is My Favorite

I discovered spoken word poetry last summer and I immediately fell in love with words all over again. It's amazing what those poets can do with their poems and they way they can make people feel. I'm so impressed and amazed and it's just all like... wow. I highly suggest...

Pass On by Michael Lee is

so incredible... It's really helped me through some difficult losses, and still sends chills down my spine every time I hear it, even though I've heard it countless times. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes spoken word.

It's how it's read aloud too. You can give two different people the same poem to read out loud, and the poems can be projected in two completely different ways, just on how the reader says everything. I love hearing poems read with conviction, and passion, and emotion. It...

Spoken Word is such a beautiful art form

and I believe that anyone can be a part of it and create a piece of work. I've been actively participating in local slams and plan to perform at local talent shows this year. I'm so excited and proud to be doing what I love while stepping outside the box and my comfort zone.
