I was always the one in my group of friends who was up for anything. More often than not, I was the one who would rally everyone together for something unplanned. Since my kids were born, the fun has gone out of that somewhat though...

It's the nice surprises in life which make it worthwhile, not just the grand gestures, spontaneity allows for unexpected ideas and activities which if you thought too much about you'd never do normally but wish you had later.
