    I am a cradle Trekkie.

I watched it (re-runs of TOS) as a child because my Dad loved it. I totally thought my Dad was Leonard Nimoy. He looked a bit like him, so he played up to the part. And now I'm married to a Vulcan, which is a challenge because I'm more the Klingon type.

    i love all star trek,

i like the old shows, the next gen, and even the controversial enterprise, so who cares if the theme song had lyrics, not that things cant change, why be so critical over a theme song, so the whole show gets bad reviews? i like the new movies coming out, im not really picky, i...

I was just going to put this in poetry,

but I figured I'd share it here since it is my poem dedicated to Leonard Nimoy. May he rest in peace. There was a man He told me to be logical And so I studied There was a man He showed me what it means to be selfless And so I did my best to be like him There was a man he...

I know, but apart from having a compulsive

appeal, it provides escapism in a life where no money is required, no problem is too great, and, where we can even beat the Borg. Come on, join me - resistance is, after all, futile...

I grew up with it. I watched TOS

as a kid, when I would stay home sick from school or something. It is such an important show, and I am really thankful for the reboot movies, because I feel like it's getting a new generation into the shows. :)

Deep Space Nine is my favourite show.

I remember watching a kid and being amazed at the shots of the exterior of the space station and I loved the diversity of the aliens in the show. As I got older and I began to understand the story, I developed a new love for the show. A woman who wants to cuddle up and watch...

    Fan

I have to admit that I loved the original Star Trek as a kid. Then I guess you could say that I sort of grew out of it. I didnt even give a second thought to watching it again. Then, when I met my husband, he was a big star trek fan. He got me involved in watching the original...

    Thank-you, Star Trek

I grew up watching Star Trek reruns in the 70s because my mom liked to watch it. As a young woman growing up in the 60s, she developed a crush on Leonard Nimoy.  It therefore became part of our family time, and a treat for my brother and I, to stay up a little bit later Thursday...

TOS defined my childhood, and Kirk and Spock were my heroes for years. I think everyone should watch the show, for sure. And TNG had some good episodes too. ;)
