First book of his I read I was in second grade

and I stumbled across Carrie in the school library. In hindsight, I guess it was pretty strange that they had anything by Stephen King in an elementary school library... But the rewards were infallible. I loved his writing style- it just felt like a situation was brewing, and...

    Stephen King Is A God

Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit.  But, I love the way he writes.  I absolutely fell in love with him when I read It.  That's gotta be his best book.  I love the way he keeps you right on the edge of your seat, and he demonstrates that skill in It.  I...

    Dark Tower

I love all of Stephen King's works, but grew to love them even more after I started to read The Dark Tower series. If you haven't read it yourself, it's a must read for any Stephen King fan. I believe you will find many nice surprises in it.

    The King Universe

I think all of the Stephen King books take place in 1 of 2 universes. The Gunslinger series, The Stand, Christine, IT, Salem's Lot and Eyes of the Dragon all have character cross-overs and mentions in each other. There may be more but that is off the top of my head. His other...

I began reading his novels when I was in high school.  I believe the very first one I ever read was Carrie.  The one that really scared me the most was The Shining.  If I had to pick an absolute favorite, it would have to be The Stand. In my opinion though, it...

    My Favorites From Stephen King.

Top of my list has to be THE STAND> This is the standard I judge all other King books. Salem's Lot...the slow take over of a town by dark forces always brings me back. CHRISTINE at its core is a story about friendship. King has done so many short stories that I adore...

your partner's phone calendar. Set an alarm for when you know you won't be together and it will remind them that you are always thinking of them and loving them. My boyfriend loved this - I put "I miss you already" and set it for a couple of minutes after his train departed
