If he happens to be with me at the time I'm shopping for some, I'm fine with him getting his credit card out at the till since he benefits, too. I don't usually like it when my man buys me lingerie as a special gift for a special occasion. The truth be told, I prefer to be taken out to dinner, or theatre. Buying lingerie sends the obligatory message that I have to wear it for him. We all know where that scene usually ends up. I don't to feel like I have to acquiesce to his sexual overtures just because I choose to wear his gift. If the lingerie is only part of a gift and other activities or things are included, then I'm OK with it provided it is in good taste. ~RS

If the lady invites me on her lingerie buying spree, I usually offer to pay if she lets me watch the fitting. I buy my own lingerie and likes it if there is a female present to assist and give advice.

The first time you buy it make sure it something she would wear. If you buy some outrageous pair she may get offended and she will not want you to do it again. Be thoughtful and it will turn into something very fun. There are plenty of websites that have area to help a man buy lingerie for his significant other.

I love to buy my wife lingerie & once I established the pattern (colours, style etc.) it has become something that I do twice a year (Valentine's & Christmas). She still enjoys it & so do I. Tips? Get 2 knickers for each bra (different style) Wrap well Add with flowers ....and you're all set
