    Glaze That Wave!!!

Surf is one of my favorite sports, I just went surfing today to a beach called La Boca but they only had longboards so I couldn't duck dive and had to take the wave in turtle mode which sucked because all of the sudden the waves got massive and I took a beating with that lame...

Surfing isn't just a sport its a compassion.

Full of beauty and grace. climb up on that board and let your emotion run free and let any anger out on the waves and what a joy. For me I was my full love for the ocean and feel the waves between my fingers and let go of anything g emotions and leave it to the great surf and...

    The Natural Rush

I see the swollen beauty, I turn around and tread hard. I hear the sound of bubbling thunder and feel the thrust forward. Water licks my face and the wind whips my hair as I gain speed. I stand up and feel the board pulsate beneath my feet like entwined lovers in the throes of...

    You Can't Beat the Ocean

The ocean is so beautiful and nurturing I could stay in the water all day.  Once I'm in you would have a hard time getting me outta there.  One thing I've learned though is you can't beat the ocean.  You can enjoy it, play in it and appreciate it but you sure can't...

I Made My Own Surf Board 2 Months Ago

I took it down to the beach on a windy day and the surf was up. I hopped on it, padded out, tried to catch my breath while I waited for the seventh and barely had the strength to catch it. By the time rode it in I was completely exhausted. I had no idea I was so out of shape...

I live 10 minutes away from the coast

and visit the ocean almost every day. I have the utmost respect for the ocean and what it can do. I surf all year long through extremely cold winters with icicles hanging from my eyebrows in 40 degree waters, or in peak summer 61 degree waters in board shorts. The massive waves...

I could spend my whole life surfing

although in Florida we don't have the biggest waves I still feel the feeling it's hard to explain its hard to imagine that water can be so powerful 24/7 think of the energy it takes to move a group of surfers with water time after time

    Bliss

I love surfing and would go every day if I lived nearer the sea. I go whenever possible in the summer but find it too cold in the winter. Tried buying a thicker wet suit recently but it was so stiff I could barely walk in it. Good reason to move from England to Hawaii!

Raised in Hawaii for 7 years,

learning how to surf I would say was the best experience during my childhood. The beach, waves, the sand, weather, everything was just my place of content. I felt at home there. Surfing has taught me balance, but in a emotional standstill, it's taught me to face my challenges no...

I cannot live without surfing. Yeah, I know, "You won't die If you go without surfing" Trust me. If I don't surf, I won't be a cheerful person. It started when I was six, now 12 years later the ocean feels like a second home to me. I could never just stop. I need it, like people...

I've been surfing since I was eight,

I'm sixteen now. And it's really given me a sense of emotional and physical well-being. It's whipped my body into shape and also my mind. Being able to make split second decisions is a perk. :) more physical attributes though, the tan skin, and the nice beach hair. Haha! I live...
