One of the things I love most about the 1950s

are ducktails I think they are absolutely perfect. If I saw a guy with a ducktail I'd marry him on the spot.

I'm a 90's kid. And a lot of the time, I think about how much I wish I lived in the 40's/50's. It seems much better than now. The way people dressed, the music, and people in general. I love reading stories about those days, and watching films too. Such as The Outsiders. I sure...

    I Really Do!

My grandmother was born in 1920. She spent her 20's and 30's in 1940's - 1950's. Those were difficult times. But she remained a true lady despite the circumstances - russians killed her husband in Vorkuta prison camp in 1948, she was displaced to Siberia with her four little sons...

I Loved Everything About That Time

The beauty and the finesse. The men, I think, were much more macho and handy. A lot of them were in the military, or a working business man. The women had grace and were very skilled and talented. Everybody had something to do in that time period. The kids had more adventure...

Is it so bad that when i watch tv

and movies from the 1950s I wish I lived in that world? I know it's idealized when it's shown on the screen but it still feels right to me.
