Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 150 People

    Thanks Sis

This is my sister's nickname on her Myspace page. I can't hate it. Truth be told I didn't even know there WAS a C-word until a few years ago (in my twenties.) I heard someone use the phrase "c-word" and I thought, what in hell is the c-word? Google quickly answered that...

The Perfect Word... For Some People

Like many of it's colloquial synonyms, it is a truly rubbish word when used for its primary definition.  It's ugly.  (For the record, I am a fan of "undersmile")It is, however, the perfect word for some people.  It can't be helped. Some people just are.  ...

    Sorry, Were You Offended?

I'm so used to tossing around the big C that sometimes I forget that it's a huge taboo among most folks... I'm a girl which kind of gives you like a built in right to say it, and I -still- get funny looks. Haha, it's just a word, don't be so insecure.

    I'm Naughty

I hated this word up until junior year in college, when my 2 best guy friends decided to try their "experiment" by saying "****" repeatedly until I was immune to it.  It worked. And thank goodness, because I love hearing my baby call me that in the...

Just.. Be Careful How You Use It!

It didn't matter how right I was in an argument with my sister years ago.. when the "c-word" slipped out, I was immediately the bad guy in the eyes of my parents.  I also remember years ago when a ***** happened to skip me in the lunch line and talk a bunch of unfounded...

    Not A Problem

I've never had a problem with the "c" word ... I wouldn't use it often, in fact, I don't use any "offensive" words very often.  But, it is all about perspective.  The word only has the power to hurt or offend if we allow it to.  But referring to a woman as a c**t...
