Chronicles Of Narnia Were My Way Out...

I am 42 years old. When I was 11 years old-I recieved a boxed set of the Chronicles of Narnia! I treasured those books and read them over and over! You see-I lived in a cabin in the woods in Alaska-and we didn't have a TV for about 6 of those years-so I read! It was also snowy...

    Love Them!

Such a great series of books....and they take a detour or two on the way... I started reading them when I was 7....and find them so enlightening, entertaining, spiritual and thought provoking..... What more could you ask for in a set of fiction books? Amber xx

    Lifelong Addiction

My uncle gave me a boxed set of all seven books when I was in grade school.  They were my first taste of fantasy...and I was hooked from the first page.  I read those books over and over, daydreaming of escaping to Narnia.Reading the books now is like going home.So thank you...

    Love It!!

I started reading the series when I was 8. Once I read the first few words I was hooked! I spent hours in the library reading them over and over and when they put the movies out I was so excited. I sat in the dark movie theater with my Lion witch and the wardrobe book in one arm...

    Do Not Doubt Your Value

The best line I got from Narnia:"You doubt your value. Do not run from who you are."Aslan told this to Lucy when she wanted to be beautiful like Susan. We are all unique. We have great things that others don't have. We have something to be proud of. Everyone of us are great. We...

Actually-the Old Movies Were Far More...

The old British Narnia movies were far more believable than the modern ones! I could get my books out and follow along! I like acuracy! The witch was far scarier-and I fell in love with Aslan! Check them out! I'm sure you can find them on BBC/America...Mr. Tumnus would be proud!

    A Childhood Memory

When I was little, my father would sit on the foot of my bed and read them to me every night, just like his father to him, and my grandfather's father to him. In fact, I now own the original copies of this series when my great-great-grandfather bought them. They have been read by...

    Aslan Representing Jesus

Just saw the last Narnia Movie a couple of weeks ago. I didn't see the second one, and I haven't seen the first in few years. Was it obvious in the first two movies that Aslan was supposed to represent Jesus, or did they just make it obvious in the last one?

    All C.S. Lewis Books

I think the Chronicles of Narnia are great stories and have enjoyed seeing them turned into well-made films.  All of C.S. Lewis' books are wonderful thought-provoking books.  They deal with how one would handle a situation if one was placed in it.  They are great books that I...
