    Do Not Doubt Your Value

The best line I got from Narnia:"You doubt your value. Do not run from who you are."Aslan told this to Lucy when she wanted to be beautiful like Susan. We are all unique. We have great things that others don't have. We have something to be proud of. Everyone of us are great. We...

I Love the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

I think I was about ten when I first heard of the lion the witch and the wardrobe. I had to read it for a class assignment. It was such a magical book filled to the brim with excitement. I fell into the story, and felt the emotions of the characters so deeply, just like when I...

Chronicles Of Narnia Were My Way Out...

I am 42 years old. When I was 11 years old-I recieved a boxed set of the Chronicles of Narnia! I treasured those books and read them over and over! You see-I lived in a cabin in the woods in Alaska-and we didn't have a TV for about 6 of those years-so I read! It was also snowy...

    Aslan Representing Jesus

Just saw the last Narnia Movie a couple of weeks ago. I didn't see the second one, and I haven't seen the first in few years. Was it obvious in the first two movies that Aslan was supposed to represent Jesus, or did they just make it obvious in the last one?

    A Childhood Memory

When I was little, my father would sit on the foot of my bed and read them to me every night, just like his father to him, and my grandfather's father to him. In fact, I now own the original copies of this series when my great-great-grandfather bought them. They have been read by...

    All C.S. Lewis Books

I think the Chronicles of Narnia are great stories and have enjoyed seeing them turned into well-made films.  All of C.S. Lewis' books are wonderful thought-provoking books.  They deal with how one would handle a situation if one was placed in it.  They are great books that I...

    Thanks Jack

I'm sitting here watching The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (newest version) with my daughter.  Yes,  for those of you who are aware my daughter is blind - she can see shapes in movies if she's close to the screen.  There is a descriptive version available, but...

I was first introduced to the series of books

when my 4th grade teacher read them to the class. I liked them so much that I even started writing my own fantasy series, which still carries on to this day.

    Life Influence

My sister is 10 years older than I am.  She majored in literature in college, so I was blessed by having a great mentor when it came to reading material.  She got me started in the Chronicles of Narnia.  It was one of the coolest Christmas presents I have ever...

Actually-the Old Movies Were Far More...

The old British Narnia movies were far more believable than the modern ones! I could get my books out and follow along! I like acuracy! The witch was far scarier-and I fell in love with Aslan! Check them out! I'm sure you can find them on BBC/America...Mr. Tumnus would be proud!
