    Now I'm Hooked Too!

The idea was that I would read the book to decide if the film would be appropriate for my daughter (10). Not only is one of her classmates reading it, I can't put it down. It's so creepy because I could imagine it happening, sort of like "Survivor" gone terribly wrong.

Ok, so I know this is a little weird

but I got the hunger games books for Xmas 2 year ago and I read all 3 within 3 days. I loved them so much that I have been the the cinema to see all 3 of them in 1 day! However, now I don't want to watch or read anything else. I read all of the maze runner books and watched the...

Although I have seen the movies,

but I have also read the books, and they are much better. More detail, more grotesque seens, better word choice. And the movies don't have the characters looking like tthe book describes them.

May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor!

I love the Hunger Games! It is like my life! I got into the book a week before the movie came out, that was only because I have not heard of it until a week before. Well after I finished reading the first book I had to go see the movie! The movie was great! Then I just had to...

    The Hunger Games

Wow i just sat in bed thinking about the end of the third book. How Prim and Finnick died. How her mother and Gale left her. Its so sad! I went back to read the first one afterwards and Katniss was so different. I think she ended up being mentally ill later on. It was just so...

    The Movie

I loved the books, and when I heard that there was going to be a movie, I went nuts! Let me just say that I have read Twilight and seen the movies, and read The Hunger Games. I know that the movies are never as good as the books, but movie-wise, The Hunger Games is gonna kick...

    I just love that book,

Katniss is so cool, she is strong and inspired me to go through hard times, and start certain national projects that are close to a revolution, but not really one.

    Hunger Games Movie Review

Okay, so I saw The Hunger Games not too long ago.  I’ve been procrastinating like all hell when it comes to writing this review.  But I’ve gotten like five requests to review it (five is a staggering number for me, believe it or not), so I figured I better get off my...

200 Pages In, I Cannot Stop Reading.

I generally go through books very quickly, but with Hunger Games, I'm lingering on every line, taking in every paragraph, picturing every moment and savoring the entire beauty of the way it is written. I've found myself questioning the writing style a few times, there are a few...

Is it odd that I like the Hunger Games?

I don't feel I am in the targeted age group but I have enjoyed reading the second book. Ironically, it is my 11 year old daughter who got me into the series (who is also not in the targeted age group). She asked me to watch "Catching Fire" with her on Netflix and I loved it. We...

My Take On The Hunger Games

Do Moral Rules Apply In The Arena?

Alright, so let me pose this question: do moral rules apply in the arena? If you think about it, it's somewhat of a philosophical quandary. If an authority figure is not only allowing you to kill each other, but mandating that you kill each other, then who is ethically...
