went to the library the other day

and felt like a kid in a candy store. I got a bunch of books and sat on the floor with all the books all over. I felt so peaceful.

    where I'd be everyday.

It is always inspiring to sit in the peaceful

environment of a library. Being surrounded by thoughts and words make me feel calm and humble.

Free books (on a temporary basis)!

It is especially awesome being able to utilize a college library as it is usually more extensive and has a longer borrowing period!

My mom is the librarian at the school

so everyday before and after class I spent around an hour in that library. Libraries make me feel relaxed and are about the only place I can actually think straight:)

Naturally, people tend to think the library is

simply a place for books and media. But as I learned (and have always believed) in one of my school library media classes, the library is a place where we exchange ideas and thoughts, through books, computers, magazines, or person-to-person. It's also one of the few place where...

I'm at home in a library.

I'm not expected to talk to anyone. no one asks me why I'm being so quiet. I'm not afraid, not worried, because somewhere in one of those books is the answer.

    UW library looks like Hogwarts.

I liked spending my time there. And besides, the library isn't that bad.

I was once so engrossed in a book I was reading,

I lost track of time and if it wasn't for the lights being turned off, I would have been stuck at the library all night.. Not that I would mind of-course.

One of the first memories I have is my mom

taking me into the local library and into the children's corner. I remember it being a tiny little room through a doorway and down a few steps. It felt like a magic world of it's own and I immediately pulled out all the Dr. Suess books and proceeded to begin expanding my mind...

Never tired looking at the view of thousands well arranged books, the smell of old books and the silent. Constantly try to find the oldest book in the library. Feels like uncovering secret of 'The hidden Wisdom'....

Library is like a brain gym.

I come here to study. And just like when you I to gym, I get into that sport mood, the same I have with library.. all these books, people concentrating on whatever they read and write. It really helps me with studying! Thank you for reading xxx

A library is a journey of exploration.

The wide ocean of words written to wander the wiles of men. The long road of research written to reveal the realities of men.

I went to my local library today.

I took out 3 graphic novels, 4 audio books, and 12 CD's. I listen to the audio books and CD's at my full time job, because I sit in a cubicle, and I am allowed to listen to what I want.

I used to not care for it

as much (my mom had a huge thing about germs) but now as an adult I find the library is great. I'm super lucky to live close to a few that are fairly well-stocked and run. It probably helps that while I really want physical books to survive, I don't actually want to buy books...
