    Dance Magic Dance...

"What kind of magic spell to use?  Slime, and snails or puppy dog tails? Thunder or lightning? Something frightning!" The Labyrinth is easily one of my favourite movies.  It has a charm about it that other movies, say The Neverending Story or The Dark Crystal, come close to...

Even though I grew to realize this was a

childrens mind control movie, from the 80s , it is still one of my faves. I always felt I was the girl running through this world that's the labyrinth, trying to get to where I was going, or to find the truth.

    The Bog of Eternal Stench.

I had to study The Labyrinth in English when I was in third form (13yrs old) and instantly fell in love with it. However, when studying the film we had to examine camera work and although David Bowie is great - could have done without those up-angled close-up groin...

My ultimate feelgood film. I love it. Artistry at its best. A whole world built by hand and brought to life on camera, by the genius Henson. I love the humour too. And the film has hidden layers. I'm going Underground now peeps. Later.
