"I need the sea because it teaches me,

I don’t know if I learn music or awareness,if it’s a single wave or its vast existence,or only its harsh voice or its shiningsuggestion of fishes and ships. The fact is that until I fall asleep,in some magnetic way I move inthe university of the waves"~Pablo Neruda

Yes it's true, I do. But my ocean is the lovely

Lake Michigan...I've had the privilege of spending time on the beach with family members today, and I am at a place of feeling calmed, at peace, and fulfilled--not always an easy combination to find. The waves were breathtaking today...I could not get enough. Sighhhhh. Thank you...

Every time I stand before a beautiful beach,

its waves seem to whisper to me: If you choose the simple things and find joy in nature’s simple treasures, life and living need not be so hard.

There Has To Be At Least A River Close To Where I Live...

Whenever I am too far away from water I feel like I am literally drying out. I just love the sound of wind and waves, just love to look out into the wideness and vastness of the ocean. It just feels great to look at the horizon and feeling that when there's so much space in this...

    I love the ocean. Yes,

I do. The sound, the smell, the mysterious vastness of it all. I love the sand between my toes and the seagulls screeching and swooping. I love to lay in bed at night with a window open and the sound lulling me to sleep while the breeze kisses the curtains...ah, that is...
