I Love the Ocean

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 30,510 People

I've only actually seen it twice.

I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for vacation a couple of times. I stood in the ocean a little but I didn't swim in it. I hate open water. My imagination goes wild and I panic. So I doubt I'll ever swim in it, but I do like to look at it, be on the beach, hear the waves.

It's serene place. I love sitting down on a

chair watching everything going by like birds flying, a cruise ship floating ahead, planes flying overheard. Seeing the clouds moving and changing , digging my feet into the sand. Watching Palm trees dancing. Hearing ocean playing. People watching. Taking photos. It's golden...

    I always loved the Ocean

since I was a small boy. Whenever I travel to countries, I do always want to find an island where I can simply dip in the sea which has a crystal clear water and plenty of fish. When I go into the ocean, I always feel very much at peace, relieve of all tensions, let my whole...
