Lilacs are out now where I live.

.. What do they remind you of, and what do they smell like to you? I think they are intoxicating. It depends on how hot or cool the day is, and how mature the lilac is. Sometimes they smell fresh and crisp like a grape jellybean, the last one left in the Easter basket, lol...

Today I went on a long hike through the forest,

and crossed the creek over fallen trees. I saw an owl. Being alone and breathing in the scent of the pines and grasses just gives me that tingly sensation all over. You know that feeling.

The weather was finally nice today & I was

itching to go for a hike. I checked with hubby to see if he wanted to come or if I should go by myself. He was still in bed & told me to go ahead. I hiked along a mountain stream for about 20 minutes, navigating around the snow piles as much as I could. Found a couple of deep...

I love to open the window up to a warm

and breezy summerday, only wearing boxers. Leaning out to feel the mildly cold wind fondle and caress my wet and warm body. Feeling the smell of the flowers that's growing along the bush that seperates my side of the house from all the neighbours... Simply amazing.
