Sometimes I like to let my synesthesia decide

how a song I improvise will take place in. I play a few keys and they seem to have a mind of their own... D is a wysteria purple and G is a shimmering sky blue. I always love to hear the colors of the music and while I'm not entirely the best at playing, it's always fun to see...

The feeling I get when I slide my hands down

the keys is amazing. I feel like I'm not even there anymore. All stress is gone and I'm not thinking about anything else in my life except for the music flooding my mind and awaking my senses.

that makes me "truly" happy and I'm very good at it. Lots of things make me happy but to play and bring total joy and relaxation....piano!!!

I can't play it but I love to listen to him

play, fingers gliding across the keys of the piano, music filling the air. Of all the instruments, the piano is the one that I love best. I find an inner peace in the music and helps me think.

Hi. I am a self taught piano player.

In 1980 I bought 2 music books that had the piano chords for the songs in each book. I learnt to press the chords then progressed to playing chords. I own a Kurzweil Artis stage piano hooked up to 2 x KRK Rokit powered amps,a Tascam digital recorder and a microphone. I love the...

    I've own pianos and keyboards

for years, but never formally learned to play. After years of kicking myself, I started taking classical piano lessons in the last quarter of this year and love it. I've traded my guitar addiction for keyboards now :)

I love the piano, and I wrote a few songs a

while back. I asked friend to help me with what I couldn't get, I found out then that I had a thing for women who can play the piano really well. My friend figured it out, and she tortured me the whole time writing my songs, and her boyfriend thought it was the funniest thing...

I was always fascinated with the melody

produced by the piano. I would sit in church and watch the pianist hands throughout the whole song. I have a grand piano at home and up until a year ago I played every morning. I need to get back to what I love.

My music teacher spends at least 15 minutes

playing the piano in class, and I absolutely love it! Most of the time it's pretty classical or jazzy, but, no matter what, I'm mesmerized by the sound of keys being played in perfect rhythm.

One minute I'm in the band room at school

eating lunch, and the next minute, I'm in a bed of soft grass tucked away in a twilight forest, a world far away. The best way to dream is to the sounds of a piano, these sounds are the ones that take me to such surreal imaginative worlds, and I love it so.

Soft keys of ivory. Long strings of copper.

Petals made of wood and cushion. Together colliding in a set of succession. To make the most beautiful sounds. Dark and terrifying. Suspenseful. Or as light as a butterfly landing on flowers. So many wonderful things can come from the piano. With just swift movements or soft and...
