Unless of course you awaken at 2:30 am!

Then, a bird calling can really drive you mad!!!

I love the sound of running water.

There is something mystical about that sound, almost musical. It has a calming effect as I sit and watch the water it seems to mesmerize me. I can forget about the troubles of the day. I can forget to think about anything at all except for what is right before me.

I love camping out, sitting almost anywhere

and being able to hear the night sounds of the country. One of these days I'll get to share this with my friend. I know you will read this. ;) I'm looking forward to this time to spend with this person I call my friend, and a few other choice names we share. I'm not embarrassed...

    Going out to the woods

and hearing nothing but the wind in the trees, birds singing and a river running is the best stress relief there is!

Have you ever listened to the sounds of our

nature? When the wind is stroking tenderly about your face while whispering something to you? Have you ever sitten on a brook, looking, how the sunrays are reflecting theirselves in the clear, fresh water while the brook is murmuring to you? Did you ever listen to the songs of...

The sounds of nature have a calming effect on

me. It is peaceful, and undisturbed. So much life can be heard, from the rustling of leaves, to the chirps of happy birds, from the worms tunneling underground, to the small animals chasing each other in games. The sounds of nature are beautiful, alluring.

I would love to find a beautiful spot in nature

and sit quietly and write all my thoughts down for a few hours. I feel they may start with things that are going on in my life. I want to see what they end in.

    Springtime birds and more

Right now, I'm sitting at my desk. It is almost noon. Filtered strengthening sunlight falls across the windowsill just a few feet away where my two feline companions are sleeping on the blanketed small table I placed there for their indulgence. And outside, a cacaphony of bird...

I love the sound of birds so early in the morn,

I like the sound of puppies soon after they are born. I love the smell of flowers and the taste of honey from bees. I love the sound the wind makes when it's blowing through the trees. I love the way the sky looks on a bright and sunny day, and even when it's rainy, I love the...

Ok ... So My Neck Is Red I'm Proud Of It!

As a boy growing up in central Oklahoma, I had the chance to get into the woods or find creeks all the time. Even in town, where my folks had the house, Couch Park wasn't far away. The Stillwater Creek flowed thru it and the city engineers had built rock pavilions with barbeque...

Oceanside (lyrics To A Song I Wrote A Bit Back)

This song appears on my band's 3rd CD. This song seems to get the most response from people after the show telling me that it really speaks to them. Which is exactly why I write music. ;-) It was written as free verse poetry at first, then I wrote the music later. Anyway...seems...

Where The Visionary Power Sings Her Splendour Song
