    Sexy Semantics

Knickers is so... English! I love the word as much as I love forgetting my knickers. It seems much more innocently 'naughty' than goiong out without panties which has a kind of transatlantic grubbiness about it. Mind you, when i'm in a grubby mood... But anything is better...

    An Amazing Piece Of Clothing

I have always enjoyed knickers or panties. Even just thinking about knickers or panties gets me excited. How a simple everyday article of clothing can become such an extreme turn on and provider of such pleasure is amazing. From the first time seeing them, to holding them in my...

    I Wear Knickers

I wear knickers, I do not wear panties or thongs (yuk) and I certainly do not wear undies. It has to be knickers, the word is so English even if knickers can be French. It matters not if they are satin, silk or even cotton, nylon is ok. Leather is for coats, jackets, skirts and...

Why Are Men So Obsessed With Girls' Knickers?

I mean, they're just pants, aren't they? Everybody wears them, and yet the average male can't seem to tear his eyes away from even the barest hint of knicker. It's like they're mesmerized or something. Seriously, what's the deal here?

    Knickers to That!

I use the word knickers more than pants when I'm talking about underwear, even though it sounds slightly old fashioned. I've also heard older people say ''knickers to that!'' as an alternative to ''stuff that!'' when they don't care too much for something.

It's One Of Those Wholesome Words.

It is a great word. We (in the UK at least) know what it means. It does irritate me when people refer to that particular item of ladies underwear as 'Panties'. Sounds so poncy. It's one of those warm intimate words (To slightly misquote Eric Berne). It is meaningful though. We...

    Knickers Or Panties

I think generally the word knickers is used in the UK and panties is used in the US. For me I love both words although I'd usually say knickers for my every day wear - for example -' I'm wearing bra tights and frilly knickers today' or 'I love your knickers - where did you buy...

Knickers...the Title Conjurs Up A Sensation Of Something A Little, Well, `special`

I prefer the word Knickers to pants or panties; the latter sound functional whilst `Knickers` has a somehow alluring and deeply naughty sound to it! I recall an early girlfriend who was always very careful about how she sat down and used to keep her knees together when wearing a...
