And the more extreme the rides the better.

Been to Thorpe Park in the UK today. Great day out, got the adrenaline pumping and made me forget all that's going on in my life for 8 hours. :)))

    Water Ride Conundrum

Went to Blackpool last weekend and got the chance to go to the Pleasure Beach there. Which is one of the best theme parks I've ever been to. Mostly because it's limited to the amount of room it has, so you get all these rides that literally have to have sharp turns and so forth...

    Chillingly Good

Just stepping in and hearing people screaming on the roller coasters, it just gives you the chills and anticipatiton. I love both of these. Theme parks are great, you never know what ride will be round the next corner, and I love that about them. You can't quite know what's...

Each year Disneyland uses over 5,000 gallons of paint to maintain the clean appearance of the park.

    Today Thorpe park was amazing!

I went on:- swarm, colossus, saw, nemeses inferno, slammer, rush, massive teacups that go fast, samurai, (I think that's how you spell it), tidal wave, (well I didn't go on tidal wave because you would get soaked I mean literally soaked but all my friends went on it). And I went...

    Maggie Taylor...........

The woman I am writing about is my Mom. She passed away in my arms in 1989 and she was only 64. Now we didn't have a close relationship, but the last four years of her life, she lived with me, my husband and her Granddaughter, Shauna. My Mom was probably an alcoholic for 44 yrs...

    My First Theme Park Experience

My first theme park experience ever was at Universal studio's Orlando back when it was just one park. I remember riding on the King Kong ride and really being worried that I might become the primates next meal or going on the Back To The Future ride to save the Doc...

I was so lazy to go to the gym

and strategically lured my colleague to accompany me for dinner. So we went to Harbourfront thinking of where to eat, but both are not into the options since we always go there for lunch. Besides, I want this night to be a little special - sacrificing gym day and dragging her...

I live not far from Orlando where there are quite a few theme parks. I loooove them. I haven't even been to all of them yet. But it is nice to be able to just go to a theme park on a boring Saturday. Roller coasters and thrill rides are the best. It's fun to go when no one else...

    Smile For The Camera :)

I haven't been to many theme parks admittedly, but the ones I have been to I have absolutely loved! The first place I went to was Disney Land when I was 12, and I was terrified on the teacup rides! I battled through my fear though, and went back two years later and took on...

    Love 'em

The roller coasters are fantastic. As if my emotions don't have me on a roller coaster ride every day ... I still love a theme park and the coasters there. The wooden ones are just the best for me. Not saying the newer ones don't make my heart race too.

    Attacked By the Security Guard

I hadn't done anything wrong as well. I was at Alton Towers yesterday and one of the rides is called Battle Galleons. Basically you get put in a mini galleon which has 8 water 'canons', 4 to each side. We (which was me, fishy wishy and ello) were put on the port side and had the...
