My husband and I have decided

that we're going to start eating cleaner and all after the new year so we each picked our favorite "bad" meal to eat before D-Day. LOL. Hubby's was homemade tacos, like his mother used to make. Meat seasoned with garlic, onion, hot sauce and tomato sauce and fresh corn tortillas...

    Sunday morning calls

for gooey cinnamon buns from scratch :) I hope they taste as delicious as the messiness, rolling, kneading, flour exploding, dough caked hands and sore arms has convinced me they are going to be. When I get my own home, everyday is going to be an experimental cooking show, and...

    I awoke this morning feeling

so satisfied and revitalized from the night before that I made my baby some breakfast in bed! Bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast with apple butter, a cup of fruit salad and chocolate chip banana nut muffins for a little something sweet! Aww love!

But I am absolutely awful at it.

I made a apple pie today and burnt the side parts. Annnnnd I made cookies today which guess what? I burnt those too :P. But it's fun (and frustrating) to cook and/or bake.
