Nice long run in this wonderful 75 degree

weather... Sweat drenched, legs sore, heart racing... Feels so good. Followed by a nice soapy cool shower... Water dripping off my body.

Good For the Brain As Well As the Body

As much as I genuinely love exercising, I also need to do it as a means of keeping myself sane. I`ve had a lot of issues over the past few years with anxiety and depression, and I tell you, exercise is a safer and far more effective anti-depressant than any drug will ever be. If...

How Many Calories Are You Burning?

This is a cool site: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/calories.htm  You can select activities and see how many calories you will burn. One pound is equal to around 3500 calories, but it is more difficult to lose calories than to gain them, which should come as no surprise.

    Exercise should be fun.

It should be something you look forward to. It should stimulate your mind and build new skills. A friend told me about this great step instructor, the only drawback is the location: 11 miles away. I tried it, I loved it. So, I drive for an almost hour through heavy traffic...

    Marching (on a treadmill
