I Love to Go to Caves

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 138 People

My life long love of caves started as a child.  My grandmother is from Carlsbad, NM.  She has 12 siblings and most of them stayed in the town.  We would go there often and see the caverns every time.  I actually know the names of the structures and paths. ...

Since I Read 'journey to the Center of the Earth'

When I was a kid, I wanted to go explore caves. So, when I grew up, I did just that! I loved it, too. Marked, tourist friendly caves are alright, but the real magic is in the tunnels no one has ever been before. On one caving trip, I discovered a...

    Lifelong Facination

When I was a boy my family toured the cave in Sequoia Nat. Park. Crystal Cave I think it was. Ever since they have facinated me.                As a young man I explored a "virgin" cave in Virginia. Others had...
