I have been golfing for 30 years and have come to the realizations that unless I am will to spend a lot of time practicing I will never be any good. This game has a margin of error of a fraction of an inch, but I stil come back to it over and over.
I'm a fairly new golfer... My goal is to break 100 ofcourse. I shot 100 today for the first time (I usually shoot 103-108) and was soo mad because i just fell apart on two holes that I normally do good on and ofcourse it was hole 9 & 18! Maybe next time!
Sure, its fun hitting the little ball and trying to hit it into the hole, but the real pleasure of golf is walking through the green of the fairways and enjoying being outdoors in the sunshine. We seem to spend all our time inside these days, working, watching, corresponding...
and play the course near me every chance I get. I am very independent in nature and enjoy it more than other sports as a result. It's a craft that I can work on bettering every day and thus can feel myself growing stronger while also perfecting my game.
