    Mesmerizing

A single flame or a roaring fire. There is just something so mesmerizing about watching the way fire moves, dances, breathes with a force of it's own. It is heat, light, it can be a savior and can be a destroyer. Fire to me is hauntingly beautiful and by staring into the heart of...

    My Arch-enemy

Flicker. Come watch it flicker. The fire dances to the same tune as you and I As we sway across the room. Our feet can create intricate patterns, Marking the soft rug beneath our bare feet. I’ll hold your hand, you’ll hold my heart And we’ll watch the merry flames leap from...

When I was little we always had gas fires set

up with coals. I would sit with my dog in front of the fire and read a book or state into the flames. It was so relaxing. I always wanted the power to control fire as well. When we traveled long distance in the car I would imagine whole swaths of the land that was flying by...

Fires always remind me of good times :)

bonfires by the lake roaring marshmallows, fireplace warming the house on winter mornings, candles in the closet with my sister while we roast mini marshmallows on toothpicks. It's just so calming to me to look at a flame and remember the past.
