I Love To Look Up At The Stars

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 4,234 People

    There's something constant

and comforting about those odd points of light in the night sky. Their presence serves as a reminder of stability amidst the passing vanities of human kind. Pin ****** of hope in an unending cycle of life, death and rebirth.

If I didn't live in suburban Atlanta,

that would be more of a possibility. The worst feeling is looking into the sky and seeing the prettiest little blue star, only to then see it start moving, and you realize it's just another helicopter. :P

Had to go out in this ridiculousness for the dance banquet to celebrate the end of the season. Her last. I was not looking forward to it for a multitude of reasons. As far as anyone looking in could see, though, I was delighted and that's all that matters. lol After enduring the...

I really miss living in the country.

My longue chair and big open yard. Looking up and watching for shooting stars. I love the twinkle in the sky and a lil music in the background. I can see the sky where I am now but it's not the same. The peacefulness is gone but the beauty still remains.

(no shade) But I mean REALLY looking up at the stars. Gazing into the vast expanse of space and time dotted with shimmers and glimmers and all things divine! You won't find a view like this amid the hustle and bustle of the big city. From what I've seen of one big city, that...

Something to think about Humans are actually

stars. You know how the stars above us are dead, well maybe they were once humans. Once a human does they become a star and the reason a star doesn't die is because humans on earth still talk about them. Once humans stop talking about them you no longer see the star in the sky...
