I know that to you guys this is going to sound silly.


But my boyfriend is in the marines and he leaves for OCS in 14 days and I'm not sure how to deal with it.

Hey...my husband and I started dating right after he was done with boot camp. Now he's deployed in Korea and I miss him like crazy. It is hard dating someone in the service but you get what you give to a relationship.


Love him, support him, and know that he misses you as much as you miss him.

I met my husband right before he went into basic/ait, then we got married and he went to Ft. Polk, Ft. Benning again, and now he's deployed. I'm not all that new at the waiting thing, so i just thought i would say how important it is that you all let him know that you miss him, but don't make him think you're lonely or miserable. Ultimately, you're happiness and the way you act toward him while you're waiting, is the root of how successful your husnabd will be. keep him happy and write him lots of letters so that he can be alert and not injured. And onces he hits deployemnt, send him lots and lots of food.
