"Reading makes immigrants of us all.

It takes us away from home, but more important, it finds homes for us everywhere." -Jean Ryes. I heard this interesting quote recently and well it really is apt for the bookworms like me.

One Good Dog by Susan Wilson is great.

You'll laugh, cry, and maybe if you’re like me want to find some of the characters in the book and murder them. You’ll have to read the book to see. 

I've been looking for a complete set of the

Narnia books (C.S. Lewis) for the longest time. In our place, it is difficult to find a boxed set. Trust me when I say this. I go to every bookstore in the city and spend TIME checking each and every title. Guess what? Last night I found one at a thrift bookstore! It was a boxed...

I love opening a brand new book

and reading the first line. The feeling of a whole new world right infront of you is spectacular. The smell of the pages adds a little magic to the book. I always feel special, like the story was written for me. Opening an old book is just as wonderful. Gently turning the well...

    Loving Books

I didn't love books as a young child. In fact my parents had to bribe me to learn to read in first grade. I had to read X number of books in order to get the gym set I wanted. At first it was hard and I didn't like it but once I got past that I flew through the levels quickly...

I would love to start a book club

if anyone would be interested. I'm pretty open to reading anything but what I am reading now or have read recently would be: The divergent series. Red Rising by Pierce Brown. I love dystopian, paranormal, fantasy, sci-fi, even some auto biographies. We could have a book or books...

Reading is my escape from life I love it I like

to read about people, I like to read about love (not in a dirty way), I like to read about different lifestyles. Reading has helped me with self harming, though it hasn't stopped it completely it has helped me stop doing it daily like I said its my escape from life.

    Instead of buying clothes,

I never wanted anyone to feel I was a nerd. Even though I was. My grades never showed that because I was trying to be one of the bad boys. Now I love reading about everything. Even the bad boys. I love getting all the books I can just in case I run out of things to read. So, I...

    I really love reading.

I've always loved reading, ever since I was a little kid. I haven't had time to read much lately though and I feel kind of bad about it. The library is my favorite place to go. Is it weird that I only like to buy books after I've read them?

Like a novel for a week.

Sometimes two. Sometimes a novel takes a month, with several novels in between. Depends on whether the storyline is dragging. It's one of the pleasures I will not give up as long as I live.
